What you are not charged for

The analyses themselves

Some tools in this category sell you an allowance: a number of analyses a month by tier, then a fee for each one past it. That prices your good months. On Stylement the plan is the whole cost. Run three analyses in a month or thirty, and the bill reads the same.

The trade is worth knowing either way round. If you run one or two analyses a month, a metered tool can be cheaper than a subscription. This is priced for a practice that runs them regularly.

Questions

The money questions

How much does color analysis software cost?+

On Stylement, three plans: Color Core at $29 a month, Color Pro at $59, and Color Studio at $99. Every plan runs full seasonal analyses, gives each client a living color page, and includes the in-store scanner.

Is there a limit on how many analyses I can run?+

No. There is no monthly cap on analyses on any plan, and no fee for an extra one. Several tools in this category meter analyses by tier and charge for each one past the allowance, which means a busy month costs more than a quiet one. Here a busy month costs the same as a quiet one.

What do I get on Color Pro that Core does not have?+

Virtual draping, so you can put a client in test colors side by side, and a generated color guide carrying your studio name, logo and colors. Both are one click from any analysis you have already recorded.

What does Color Studio add?+

True white label. Every client-facing surface, including booking and client pages, drops all Stylement attribution, so what your clients see is entirely your brand. Studio includes everything in Pro.

Do I need a stylist plan as well?+

No. The Color plans are their own thing, priced for an analysis practice rather than a full styling business. If you also run styling with a client roster, closets and lookbooks, the stylist plans cover that separately.

Can I try it before paying?+

Yes. You can open an account and look around before you choose a plan, and you can cancel at any time. Changes take effect immediately and are prorated.
